PhD Fellowship Position in Health Science

The Allergan Global Real-World Evidence & Modeling group and Rutgers’ Center for Health Outcomes, Policy and Economics (HOPE) are partnering to offer this one-year, post-PhD fellowship in the highly sought field of Health Economics and Outcomes Research. This program will build a solid foundation in health science evaluation via hands-on analyses of real-world data at Allergan and academically-based research at Rutgers HOPE, working with leaders at both sites. Following completion of this program, the fellow will have a strong understanding of the value of pharmaceuticals in global healthcare systems and will be prepared for positions in the pharmaceutical industry, academia, pharmacy benefit management, or consulting. Competitive stipend, tuition support, medical and dental insurance, vacation and sick days are provided.

Which should include:
Your CV, letter of interest, 3 letters of recommendation, and official graduate school transcript by April 16. 
Advanced degree (PhD or ScD required) in health services research, public health, health economics, epidemiology, outcomes research, biostatistics, pharmacy, pharmacy administration, or a related discipline. 
A background in pharmacy or medicine and experience in outcomes research, health economics, or closely-related fields of research is preferred. 
Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
The selected fellow must be eligible to work in the United States during the one-year fellowship employment period.
