Postdoctoral Fellow Position in Materials Processing

We are looking to recruit high quality Post-Doctoral Research Assistant to join our leading research centre. Would you like to be part of an innovative project that will take us into the next generation?

The ideal candidate will be expected to contribute significantly to delivering a state of the art research project to develop a novel plastics recycling process, in collaboration with a partner University in China. The role will involve developing techniques to process recycled polymeric materials into value added products, within our laboratories. 

It is essential that you hold a degree and PhD in the relevant subject area (Engineering/Science), and a strong grounding in materials processing. 

The laboratory at Bradford focuses on polymer engineering, and has a range of large scale multi-university research programmes, a thriving international collaboration programme (particularly with China and India) and a highly successful track record of funding from RCUK, EU and industry (currently collaborating with over 100 companies). 

We are a world leading research laboratory for polymer, polymer composite/nano-composite and associated materials processing, including biomaterials and pharmaceuticals, with:40 advanced manufacturing lines for melt phase, solid phase and reactive processing, extensive characterisation and computer modelling.
