A dynamic, progressive institution with a well-justified reputation for excellence in teaching and research, Flinders University seeks to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work.
The Postdoctoral Research Associate will undertake research in the discipline of Psychology under the direction of the Chief Investigator, as part of the project Promoting Engagement with Life in Older Adulthood. This project is funded under the Australian Research Council Linkage scheme, and will involve contributing to several studies with older adults, including the development and evaluation of a new activity program designed to promote ongoing engagement with life. Working with the team on this exciting project, you will assist in managing and executing various aspects of the research project and contribute to high quality publications and conference presentations.
With a PhD in Psychology or Gerontology, key to your success in this role will be your exceptional research and analysis skills, combined with the ability to communicate and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Location: Flinders University, Bedford Park campus
- Available until 31 Dec 2021 on a part-time (0.8 FTE) basis
- Salary (Research Academic Level A): $73,569 to $89,600 pa (pro-rata)
- Plus 17% employer superannuation
